Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Haridwar

Haridwar to Barkot (210 km / 7-8 hrs)

  • Meet at Haridwar and begin your journey to Barkot via Mussoorie.
  • En route, visit Kempty Falls (if time permits).
  • Check-in at the hotel in Barkot & relax.
  • Overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 2: Barkot – Yamunotri Darshan – Return to Barkot

(45 km drive + 6 km trek one way)

  • Drive to Janki Chatti, then trek to Yamunotri Temple (Options: Trek, Pony, Doli available)
  • Take a holy dip in the Surya Kund hot springs & perform puja.
  • Trek down to Janki Chatti & return to Barkot.
  • Overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 3: Barkot – Uttarkashi

(100 km / 4-5 hrs)

  • After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi, the town of temples.
  • Visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
  • Explore Shakti Temple & Maneri Dam (if time permits).
  • Check-in at the hotel & relax.
  • Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri Darshan – Return to Uttarkashi

(100 km one way)

  • Drive to Gangotri, the origin of the Ganga River.
  • Take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi River & offer prayers at Gangotri Temple.
  • Visit the Gauri Kund & Surya Kund waterfalls.
  • Return to Uttarkashi for rest.
  • Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

Day 5: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi

(220 km / 8-9 hrs)

  • After breakfast, drive to Guptkashi via Rudraprayag & Devprayag.
  • Witness the Sangam of Alaknanda & Bhagirathi Rivers at Devprayag.
  • Check-in at the hotel in Guptkashi & relax.
  • Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 6: Guptkashi – Kedarnath

(30 km drive + 18 km trek)

  • Early morning drive to Sonprayag, then take a shared jeep to Gaurikund.
  • Begin the 18 km trek to Kedarnath Temple (Options: Trek, Pony, Doli, or Helicopter at additional cost)
  • Attend the Evening Aarti at Kedarnath.
  • Overnight stay in Kedarnath.

Day 7: Kedarnath Darshan – Return to Guptkashi

(18 km trek + 30 km drive)

  • Early morning darshan at Kedarnath Temple.
  • Visit Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi & Bhairavnath Temple.
  • Trek back to Gaurikund & drive to Guptkashi.
  • Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 8: Guptkashi – Badrinath

(180 km / 7-8 hrs)

  • Drive towards Badrinath, the last Dham
  • En route, visit Joshimath & Vishnuprayag.
  • Upon arrival, take a holy dip in the Tapt Kund.
  • Attend the Evening Aarti at Badrinath Temple.
  • Overnight stay in Badrinath.

Day 9: Badrinath Darshan – Mana Village – Rudraprayag

(160 km / 6-7 hrs)

  • Early morning darshan at Badrinath Temple.
  • Visit Mana Village, the last Indian village near the Tibet border.
  • Explore Bheem Pul, Vasudhara Falls & Vyas Gufa.
  • Drive to Rudraprayag for an overnight stay.
  • Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.

Day 10: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh – Haridwar

(165 km / 6-7 hrs)

  • Drive back to Haridwar, en route visiting
  • Devprayag Sangam – Confluence of Bhagirathi & Alaknanda.
  • Rishikesh – Optional visit to Parmarth Niketan & Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat.
  • Arrive in Haridwar, check-in at the hotel.
  • Attend the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri.
  • Overnight stay in Haridwar.

Day 11: Haridwar Sightseeing & Departure

  • After breakfast, visit Mansa Devi, Chandi Devi & Daksh Temple.
  • Drop-off at Haridwar Railway Station/Airport for onward journey.
